Inside Golden Bay Harbour there is a purpose built, Maritime Safety Authority accredited, Lloyds registered, safe all weather Port immediately adjacent to 82 hectares of land available for industrial and commercial use.
The nearest commercial centre is Takaka at a distance of 11 kilometres and Nelson is 80 kilometres by road.
Road access into Golden Bay is via the Takaka Hill (844m above sea level at its highest point). Alternative access into Golden Bay can be obtained via sea or air transport.
The marine Port and facilities are owned and operated by the Tasman District Council (TDC).
