New Zealand’s Greenshell Mussels are commercially grown in Golden Bay waters.

There are Aquaculture Management Areas within the Bay where mussels are grown on suspended rope systems known as long-line farming.

We lease land to mussel industry tenants who store marine farming equipment on the Tarakohe Harbour Estate.
